While it is impossible, given their diversity, to paint one picture of women living under Islam today, it is clear that the religion has been used in most Muslim countries not to liberate but to entrench inequality. The Taliban, with its fanatical subjugation of the female sex, occupies an extreme, but it nevertheless belongs on a continuum that includes, not so far down the line, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Pakistan and the relatively moderate states of Egypt and Jordan.

I am continually amazed by Researcher. The whole article lists a catalog of horrors that could easily be transfered to past western history and all he can do is have a dig at our theological differences. Very big of him for supporting the women.
What about if they believed we had 2 souls, or 3 would that make them even cooler?
The last sentence is puerile nonsense. A weak attempt to link evolution with the degradation of women. We are all homosapien and we don’t all behave that way, that should be enough evidence that evolution doesnt limit freedoms of choice and behavior. We get by better by being nice, hence the social species tag. The advancement of the west is testament to survival of the fittest. Free 50% of your population and you free abilities wasted by those who won’t.
