The Health Care Abortion Issue: An Open Letter to the Catholic Bishops
Psychologist Valerie Tarico challenges the moral standing of the Catholic bishops and discusses her abortion. She asserts that moral decision making is a right and responsibility for each person, independent of religious authorities.

My fatheist and religiously moderate family/friends comes to mind every time they argued that religion doesn’t hurt anyone. Obviously, it does.
“you saw an opportunity to make sure that American women can’t afford abortions, a way to be the deciders for all of us. “
Does the bishop really have a say in those kind of decisions regarding healthcare? What else do they have a say in?
