excerpt:

The Swedish suicide bomb attack has been hailed by an al-Qaida-linked organisation, the Islamic State of Iraq, according to an Islamist website.

...[The bomber] Abdaly was described as muhjahid or fighter and referred to on another Arabic-language Islamist internet forum as “our brother” [and]...Al-Hanin forum members refer to Abdaly as a “martyr” and the Stockholm blasts as a “martyrdom operation”, invoking the blessings of Allah.

But, of course, this has nothing to do with the friendly religion of peace.

The idea of Islam being a “religion of peace” is absolute crap.  The Koran talks about killing unbelievers so they can get to hell faster.  There is a lack of compassion within Islam because there is a lack of compassion in the Koran.

3. Achbad the True Believer

Why protest the Stockholm bombing? Must we be so intolerant? After all, since we live in a kind, touchy-feely society, we must let all religions express their God-given right to act according to their customs and beliefs. And why are the infidel Swedes surprised that this happened? The cartoons were drawn in their barbaric country, and they must pay for it. *The truth is*: As Sam has hammered home repeatedly, we as a society give people who believe in fairy tales a free pass when it comes to their behavior. In this case, the only compassionate thing to do is to be intolerant of this action, and Islam in general.
