What for is god? To fill the vacuum and solitude that ignorance and stupidity bring in into human psyche by the lack of transcendence of human life, something to build what is known as the meaning of life.

Humans feel the nothingness of themselves standing in front of the mystery, vastness and complexity of the Cosmos and, as a subconscious reaction, need to know what or who is there for them; god concept, as the creator of the Cosmos and everything makes humans feel some how not alone, not left behind in the nothingness with no answers to their anguish, their ignorance and their stupidity, believing gives humans a reason to live no matter what. The hope for a better destiny some how, some place, some future, keep them alive waiting for it.

Unfortunately, so far, neither religion nor politics have filled that vacuum properly, instead, have kept them in the ignorance and the stupidity to easily exploit them. Neither of them alone nor together have fulfill their hopes but, instead, both have for several thousands years misleading them into beliefs that they really care for them. For that effect have created institutions that lie to them, lies that have terrorized them in both lives, here and an invented one beyond death. Politics manipulate people here making them to blindly believe in some virtues labeled great civil virtues, to make them obedient entities that work hard, pay taxes, go to war, law abiding and so on, religion makes them to believe that they have an immortal soul whose destiny after life is their responsibility meaning that they have to behave and perform according to what priests tell them what to do to fulfill that destiny and so to avoid the eternal condemnation of such a soul.
