Regarding the Catholic Church’s decision to deny Patrick Kennedy communion, a reader of the Cape Cod Times writes:

“I assume that if you are denied Communion you will not go to heaven. Apparently, the church leaders have received their information directly from God to serve such punishment. Although it is not as painful in the present life as being burned at the stake, it is painful to think about the afterlife believing you will go to hell… Would some theologian who gets direction directly from God explain this?”

Ok….who’s Patrick Kennedy and why does he want Communion (the Catholic Church is one of the most despicable organizations that ever existed)?

I figured the article would answer these questions but, alas, no.
