The title of this article hints that it will discuss whether the presence of religion matters when choosing the next Justice of the Supreme Court.  Sadly, it really only discusses whether the specific religion matters, not whether he/she is affiliated with one at all.  It’s alarming that atheism and agnosticism aren’t even mentioned as possible philosophies practiced by the next Supreme Court Apointee, especially given the title of the article.  the absense of that point here, is unfortunately indicative that it may take some time before this country becomes comfortable with secular representatives in high-power political positions.
