Richard Dawkins
Posted: December 1, 2010.

Really beautiful. I’m sure this captures what many feel, but can’t articulate so well. One thing is certain, Professor Dawkins got the irony he was previously deprived of in spades at the end of the article!

Christopher Hitchens will always influence my life in an encouraging and constructive way.  I hope that one day I will be able to articulate myself in a fluent manner, and display confidence in the way that Hitchens can.  Christopher Hitchens is a success and a great human for numerous reasons.  His accomplishments will resonate in the world for many years to come.  I wish him the best.

Ironically Hitch is pretty nonplussed with such reverence… at least openly. I got to see him here just before his diagnoses was publicly announced. A defining moment for me to be sure.

Every time I hear Mr. Hitchens speak, I am thoroughly engrossed. His knowledge of world history, politics and religion is beyond impressive and his ability to cogently lay out his case, debate brilliantly, and just make freakin sense is without peer.
