I’m reminded of an old song by Meatloaf called Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad.
If a country is to have meaningful truth in advertising laws, advertisers should be required to demonstrate the truth of their claims concerning their product. All that these people would have to do is produce a person that had been horribly disfigured in a fire to the court, pray for this person in the courtroom, and then watch the scar tissue disappear. Maybe have a person grow a new limb or something. If their claims are true, they can be demonstrated in court.
