God in the classroom

Excerpt:

“Do you believe in God, sir?” I imagine that this is a question that science teachers, like me, get asked far more often than, say, English or Geography teachers. I usually answer with a simple “no, I don’t”, but I recently answered this question by saying “what do you think?” to which the student replied he thought I was probably an atheist because I was a “scientist”. He was right about me being an atheist, but I was an atheist long before I was any kind of “scientist”.

Perhaps you even became a scientist because you had questions but no precooked answers which would stop you trying to figure things out…

I read the article , which was very well put by the Physics Teacher .
I read through the comments section too and it was brought up , that somebody thought it was strange that students were asking questions about their instructors religious beliefs in a science class .
I also think this is weird , I remember my science classes and we all just sat there , nobody would have dreamed to ask the teacher about belief in god , we didnt care .
My theory is that its the parents of these kids that get nervous whenever their kids are forced to take science class and would rather them not take it at all and are encouraging their kids to speak out and challenge the teacher about their beliefs as a way of undermining the science instruction.
As your classrooms fill up with children all from strict religious homes this is the result , conflict in the classroom .
I really believe if your living in a country where the school system teaches things that are contrary to your strict religious beliefs that unless you cannot sit quietly you are living in the wrong place .

The teacher said, “I’m not suggesting that science teachers should seek to convert children away from the religions they have been brought up with, or tell them that God doesn’t exist.”

I suggest we use public education to convert children away from the religions that hold back their development. I am obviously not a teacher.

I commend Mr. Shaha for his approach to this issue, for his students will gain the most by his advocating for the scientific method and not directly confronting those who hold, and declare, beliefs based on myth, superstition and un-challenged authority.  Knowledge is always the final agent of change…and intellectual freedom.

I agree with the previous statement, when we were in school, which was not but 15 -20 yrs ago, we were just plain taught evolution. There was not even a discussion and there was no thought to ask about god. Why is there so much discussion? The same people who complain about evolution, funny I never hear them complain that gravity doesn’t exist or combinations of tiny molecules make up water etc. Hmm picking and choosing, must be a nice delusional world to live in.

This - should be taught as history of religion.

In the beginning there was a Jewish religious movement named Yahweh-God-Jehovah with theories about God, life and the hereafter. Bible says; In the beginning it was the word, and the word was like God, and the word was God. The letter H was Holy; so religiously Holy that the H was not uttered or mentioned because it was divination. (the letter H was Holy) Religious priests established the “silent letter H” as a code, such as the letter “H” in Abraham’ and Jehovah’ and Noah’ and Jeremiah’ etcetera. Such as the H in Judah’ such as the H in India’s Brah’ma and Brah’man and Brah’min.
In English the H is silent as in - taught and fought, drought, caught, sought and naught, etc. etc.
As/per the Hindu religious philosophy - Brahma - is the supreme and eternal essence (or) spirit of the Universe . Brahma also means Universal Knowledge.
In the Hindu scriptures, the “Atharva Veda” is Brahma Veda (Universal Divine knowledge). Brahma is actually Abraham - moving the letter “A” to the end (as is done in their language) Abraham becomes “Brahma.” Hindu Priest (pundits) teach that the “Atharva Veda” known as the “Brahma Veda” (divine knowledge) is the book of Abraham.
In the Vedas, the Prophet “Ismael” is Ishmael, and “Ishaq” is Issac - they are named - Atharva and Angira in the Hindu Vedas. (there are 18 Vedas) The Prophet “Nuh” in the Vedas is (Noah of the arch and flood). In the Vedas, he is mentioned as “Manuh” (or) Manu as some kind of God.  A Bra-h-man is - a member of the Priestly H - “the highest” Hindu caste in India. In India, the Hindustani “the Hindu caste” class system is a matter of grave concern. Though he was a Jew, Abraham was a member of this high caste of Indian people. Studies indicate that Abraham was the richest man in the world; at that time. He had cattle, sheep, goats, wells, slaves, gold, silver, bronce and vast properties; the amplitude of his possessions made him a very rich man. He was a man of God. He was a man thought to possess divine knowledge. Bible verse - Genesis chapter 13 verse 2 says; Abraham was then, the richest man on Earth.
Bra-h-min (or) Bra-h-man; is a cultured person, from an upper class family; regarded as being haughty rich, and conservative.

The Bible says; Yahweh-God-Jehovah, spoke to Abram; he said to Abram; from now on, you are Abra-ham, instead of Abram. (to make the H subliminal)
Indeed;
The letter “H” in “Yahweh is the “H” in YHWH. (nothing more than four letters)
Bible says; In the beginning it was the word, and the word was like God, and the word was God.  YHWH-YAHWEH
The Yahweh-God-Jehovah deity was created from the letter - H – from nothing !
All the foregoing is written in the bible. It is bible scripture - prove it, to yourself - look it up.
Pent, is five, as in pentium; The Pentagon is the center of the Jewish six point star. The First five books of the Bible are called The Pentateuch. The word - repent refers to reprieving one’s life’s dedication, to conform to scriptures written in the Pentateuch which are the first “five books” of the bible. (Genesis through Deuteronomy) which Jews say, are the five fingers of God’s hand.
(but Moses wrote it, not God)
Repent - Reaffirm, the five books and the six point star. The Jewish Pentateuch column bears the Ram’s horn scrolls (Lamb of God) as the capitol of the Pentateuch column. The Jewish Star has six points, forming a pentagon in the center.
Observe; The white, five point star, symbol of many different nations. In India their Trinity is “Brahma, Siva & Vishnu”. The 54 statutes of Law, in the old testament (in the first five books) of the bible, are basic to the Laws of all nations. Jews, standardized the morals & ethics & Laws, of Civilization; they Established Yaweh-God-Jehovah = “YHWH” as the God of all Armies and all Nations. end
