as Einstein’s dictum stated. The randomness of quantum events, (uncertainty principle) seems to rule out a deist God, who created a system of physicalism that could not be predicted. Thus there was apparently no guarantee that humans would have evolved.
What good would that creation have been, and how does that make any logical sense? To set up quantum uncertainty, factor in 13 billion years or so, and let it roll?
The great deists of the enlightenment-Locke, Jefferson, Paine etc., would probably reconsider their brilliant thoughts if they were alive today and were now privy to the findings of the quantum world which is the foundation for all we know including ourselves.
Of course they might turn into fundamental Christians who think the God of Abraham tinkers with nature through miracles just enough to make it all work, and to make us all wonder. However, somehow I think not.
