There should be a straight up statement about what is the current BM policy at the forum.

It should be noted that this policy was designed to reflect the mean average of patrons’ opinions on the subject.

The BM Specimen is restricted to threads that it started or threads started by other specimen jars like itself. That way, if anyone wants to chew on a BM, they can find sustenance in any of its many offerings.

Should BM’s appear on threads started by sentient individuals, they will be deleted or more-likely, mickeyed with. Some serious discussions become hard to follow when broken up with endless stool-flinging post boxes… as some patron have pointed out

BM suspensions are usually brief, sometimes hours or a few days or until my electricity comes back on.

This policy is open to further debate and tweaking. I will have FUN with whatever policy makes the patrons happy. To me, the BM is an inert fixture, like a grease trap or child’s potty chair. There is no one there to be fair to.

Once it’s in a quote box, I’m hardly censoring anyone. Beside, shouldn’t there be content before there is an issue of censoring it?

I vote for NM’s BM policy.  Nuts carrying “Repent sinner!” signs are tolerated on the sidewalk but not for very long anywhere else.

Excellent outcome. Tolerant to the nth degree and fair to all.

Agreed. The modified quotes are a constant source of amusement, well done Nhoj.

If you don’t read my posts, Chaos and others, how do you know that Nhoj’s judgement of them as lacking content is valid?

From where I sit, Nhoj is going against the spirit of PR for the sake of turning PR into a group of like-minded friends who like to praise each other.

I’ve hurt a lot of feelings by strongly disagreeing with atheism, and giving posters here the opposite of praise.

And, that is why I am targeted, not because of the “content” of my posts.

Tru that.

No, you are targeted because you break into threads you did not originate and that have nothing to do with your particular obsession.  Don’t flatter yourself, you’ve hurt no one’s feelings here, just annoyed a lot of folks.

About the only thing that one should take seriously on this forum is to enjoy interacting with others.  Educating them or being educated by them, may happen, but better for that goal to go to school. It is also useful to be able to laugh at oneself as readily as at others.

I’m sure the correction will take this time ...

Yeah.

I used to read your posts and gave you the benefit of the doubt, but over time it has become clear that you tread a very narrow path with the exact same message. I do not KNOW that Nhoj’s judgement of your posts lacking content is valid, but I have a relatively high certainy that the content is the same as it always is.

You are not banned; those that want to engage with you are free to do so in threads that you start. If you don’t like something in another thread that you simpy must comment on, start a new thread with the offending post quoted. You may get takers.

I used to be somewhat amused at some of your posts, but now they just cause me to roll my eyes. Sorry. And if PR is looking like somewhere that like-minded people go to, I think that IS the intent. We are not all buddies and people often disagree with each other. They just don’t want your particular brand of noxiousness poisoning the atmosphere.

Interesting what happened while I was asleep under a tree.  The troll we all know as BM must keep to the underside of bridges now?  Where will all the bad ideas come from?

LOL! No shortage of bad ideas Mike. More to follow from other sources I’m sure.

Isn’t it amazing to consider that there are tens of millions of other human beings on this planet that think just like BM?

It boggles the mind.
