Coach Ron Brown represents a public university where bigotry of this sort cannot be tolerated. He has created a conflict of interest between him and other students and faculty that don’t share the same faith. Ron Brown assumes first of all that the bible is the ruling authority over the world. The part that scares me the most about this is that Ron Brown says the bible is where he gets his opinion that homosexuality is a sin and causes him to speak out against it. The bible also tells you to stone to death homosexuals and non-believers alike. If he will literally take the bibles stance on homosexuality, why not literally take the stance on stoning? If he isn’t also going to preach that they should not only be denied rights, that they should also be stoned to death, then his claims about the bible as the moral authority are invalid as he is cherry picking his evidence for his opinion.
what do you people think about this?
