Hi my name is Devin. I just finished up my last season of playing college football this past fall. I’m currently a grad assistant, and i will be graduating this May with my MBA. I also attended West Point for a couple years before transferring to my current school of choice.

I found this site through Sam Harris’ twitter, and i was like ‘hell yes!’ haha , I’m 23. I was raised fundamentalist christian in a very large non-denominational church, but after some years of private study, I more or less believe in a ‘higher order’ not directly correlating to the judeo/christian teachings. I am also a fan of Terence Mckenna.

Welcome!  I have to confess that I never heard of Terrence McKenna, so I googled him and learned that Timothy Leary claimed he was “one of the five or six most important people on the planet.”

I assume your belief in a “higher order” has nothing to do with West Point and their stress on the importance of a military hierarchy?

You must be a pretty smart guy to have gone to West Point.  Did they teach you how to march?  Do you have good posture?  Can you tell that I know nothing about West Point?  I don’t even know why it is called West Point.  What is it west of?

‘higher order’ is as worthless as judeo/christian, but welcome in any case!
