You will be in the running to receive the fabled brass figlagee with bronze oak leaf palm if you can tell me intellectually why I shouldn’t kill X if I won’t get caught.

I assume you mean my informing you intellectually, not why you shouldn’t kill X “intellectually.” Try a healthy functioning human brain ... in a society of healthy functioning human brains.

The ventromedial prefrontal cortex processes feelings of empathy, shame, compassion and guilt. Damage to this part of the brain, which occupies a small region in the forehead, causes a diminished capacity for social emotions but leaves logical reasoning intact.

I have to disagree about the debate.  Sam Harris lost by every objective criteria that one would use to score a debate.

Couldn’t disagree more. Craig’s verbal masturbations do not require refutation. They are not even wrong. Trying to clean up his projectile verbal diarrhea is a waste of time.

Sam gave the best sustained *moral* attack on Christianity I’ve seen on Youtube.  Instead of the same tired argument over truth, we got an argument over Evil, with religion playing defense.

If you scored Sam as the loser, your “objective” criteria don’t relate to who actually won.
