“While others saw the troth, when you find many Atheist scientists chose Islam. What does that mean to you?”
Dear Sammy,
While language may be an issue here, and my glee a little cheaply won, I could not help but find this particular line a source of endless fun. Frankly, in response to the question posed, either not enough or too much.
“the troth”
—Do you mean what was formerly known as “The Ring of Troth” or a Germanic Neopaganism group?
—Do you mean a solem pledge of fidelity?
—Did you misspell “truth,” or
—My personal favorite in the context of this thread, did you misspell “trough,” a container for water to which one may lead a horse (for example), but not make her drink? Do you not see the “trough” to which you have been repeatedly led here?
I’m tickled also by the incomprehensible “when you find many Atheist scientists chose Islam.” That will be the day, now won’t it? Strikes me a little like a duck choosing a l’orange—an evolutionary misstep to be sure. Bon Appetit!
