Quite so. GAD just likes to have fun. We can all relate to that (well, I certainty can - I get a lot of fun out of this place) but, eventually, there often comes a point where we (or at least I) have to say, ok, had my fun - enough of that. Circumcision, male or female, is a debate that continues for a reason. We can’t just brush it under the carpet if people want to discuss it in a reasonable way. As far as I can see, Mr Meteor has not been offensive or dogmatic or unreasonable or failed to back up his claims with links to what could be relevant information.
Personally, I enjoy the debate. I love everything to do with penises. They’re my favourite hobby. Penises are to me what tits or other female bits are to straight guys. But that’s just me. I don’t expect others to be entranced for that reason. The real question is whether or not circumcision is harmful and/or necessary/unnecessary and just a hangover from religious delusions. Those are all issues that can be legitimately debated on PR. If GAD doesn’t like talking about penises, and what rights their owners should have in respect of them, then he doesn’t have to participate in the thread. But, to be honest, without GAD’s input, many threads here would go nowhere. We need some cut and thrust. Well, in the context of this debate, perhaps just the thrust.
