I’ll revisit this briefly. Then it’s all Andrew’s.

Is there anything wrong with expecting to be given some respect ? YOU should demand that of forum users…

In a discussion forum, respect cannot be expected. Earned perhaps, slowly… painfully.

In case you haven’t caught on… the way this forum is structured, no one has the power to demand anything of anybody.
We have to try our best to get along. You could do better.

Okay MORLEY—I think it is disgusting and deteriorating to be fighting on a forum like this. This is a thinking and really honorable project that can do a lot of good if we SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR IT . Fighting,back-biting, attacking, bullying ,badgering, etc. are the same as trashing this blog. All that kind of adolescent behavior is something we should have gotten out of our system before we graduated from highschool. And when I say “bully ” I include trying to incite bad feeling in others against another person. That is lowly and petty and mean. It’s a conspiracy to stigmatize a member and it is really shameful !

If it sounds like I’m part of the fight, well it happens because I have been forced to defend myself . I hate it, and it shouldn’t happen. I don’t instigate fights. Some people here are just plain mean-spirited. They pollute.

About “respect “—-well, yes, I certainly do understand that, when you come right down to it, respect is something we earn. But- you know what ? I feel I have earned it. People here who give me a bad time wouldn’t know that. That’s because they don’t really read my posts, they have their minds all made up before they ever read. It’s not a reading session - it’s a teasing, taunting and belittling session.

There’s a reason for all this, and it isn’t because of anything I have said or did that’s REALLY wrong . It’s because I have a different view, ideas, vision. I’m a difference of opinion and it flies in the face of all 98% of what the participants here live by . Their adorable boy wonder president is rejected by me-you can start there. Every since they found out don’t like him they have made a bigot out of me, and they just can’t stand my attitude. They just can’t bear anyone here who thinks like me. When I say “they” I am talking mostly of three or four of our regulars. They are very “loved ” but that’s no mystery because they all think alike.

In the years I’ve been here I’ve given a lot. I’m just like anyone else here in that I long for the time when religion doesn’t have the power to screw up human lives.

I wasn’t hitting a philosophical note, Mr. Gor.

No one at the site has Administrative powers.

P.S. Don’t tell anyone….

I only choose to be philosophical about every thing. It is how I entertains itself.

Does not entertain anyone else.

What entertains me about you Dennis is that you speak for everyone. obviously, i need only to consult with you on all matters. What should I have for dinner tonight?

More like sophistry, and really bad sophistry at that.  Does not entertains anyone but itselfs.

I’m always pleased when a theist accuses an atheist of having faith. It lets me know that they know its a bad thing.

So, Gragor, what do you actually do (apart from posting here) while you’re not existing? It’s a strange concept. Have you ever looked into it during your periods of existence? It might prove a fruitful execise…

Do you mean, what does a certain organism conveniently labelled as Gragor do? If this is what you mean what it does is hardly dissimilar to what you do. It appears to be a tube-like structure at a gross level, and at finer levels it is a particular environment consisting of billions of smaller organisms all acting as various colonies interfacing and cooperating with each other in order to transform energy into forms of which only the brain area perceives as forms separate to other forms. Thought forms or material forms. All are forms but just of varying densities. Apparently things labelled “neutrenos” (not completely sure how this is spelt) fly through space and pass through “gragor”, but because neutrenos are so tiny they are not even aware of flying through any “body” (human organism). At the level of neutreno existence the body “Gragor” is just more space.

What do you mean by fruitful? Do you mean fruitful as it relates to a country’s economy? Contributions into a country’s economy is just another way of describing a grosser organism call “economy”. Or fruitful as it relates to a Gragor? The organism is already, apparently, a Gragor. I wonder what is the ultimate goal of any apparent organism. “Fruit” is the same as “goal”, or is it not in regards to the thought “fruitful”? This could be a fruit bearing question, or “exercise”, however. Any ultimate goals in mind rob?
