I think the chosen finalists are all didactic, too obvious in their attempts at humor (like announcing the joke at the top of the video) or just barren of content. One of the videos exclusively uses purchased stock footage. This should have been an art contest, not a PSA contest. It’d be better to give some money to struggling artists than to support these derivative sprints to the middle. I’m still not convinced that atheists, in general, have any taste at all. Want me to prove it? Look up “symphony of science” on youtube and look at all the fawning supporters it gets. Auto-tune people, auto-tune. What is wrong with our community?
Yes I am bitter and angry, but I at least I expected this to be the result.

[size=4][size=3]WELL WELL !
Didn’t I exactly call the ultimate outcome ?
Smacks of the worst brand of monetary PANDERING endemic to donation-supported non-profits…
Can PR’s credibility sink any lower ?
Ironically—the truly original projects that really could have made a global difference were ash-canned…
Such is Mercenary Power Politics…

Why is it that when you’re not considered as remarkable as you consider yourself, it’s obviously an unfair conspiracy against you?
