This group will be dedicated to the free but rational discussions based on religious belief.  There will be no derogatory remarks such as “faith is for idiots’ or ” only stupid people believe in God”.  Such remarks are in bad taste and carry absolutely no argumentative weight no matter how true they may be.  I understand that many reasonable, dissecting arguments on religion may seem “rude” even though they are not.  Please do not confuse these arguments with the abhorrent remarks. I encourage critical discussion on belief and its many implications in the world.

I am interested in the nature of superstitious belief and how it has evolved in humans through our genes as well as our memes.  I have no plans for set meeting times as of yet, although if this group starts getting more members I may consider implementing some times for discussion.
