Project Reason is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation devoted to spreading scientific knowledge and secular values in society. The foundation draws on the talents of prominent and creative thinkers in a wide range of disciplines to encourage critical thinking and erode the influence of dogmatism, superstition, and bigotry in our world.

A coalition base for residents of Alabama and the southeast. We seek to act as a contact and nexus for the disparate organizations working within the US south to help foster reason and inquiry. We operate out of Birmingham, the Secular Student Alliance at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and The Radical Academic act as administrators.
