People use the same word - God - to convey very different ideas: creator, moral guide, personal relationship and impersonal force. Michael Nugent, chair of Atheist Ireland, debates this at University College Cork.










God always was intended to mean the “good of all”, what we now call the ecosystem (Allah).
posted on May 18, 2009Our ancestors didn’t know about photosynthesis, but the smart (and more contemplative and observant) could see that everything was dependent on each other. The bible is just an early TOE (theory of everything).
“The father, the son and the holy spirit” refers to: “reason, emotions and attitude” (trinity!).
If we’re going to tackle societal problems we need to address all three of these aspects.
